Maisha Mazuri Horse Riding Club
So today I went to Kiwengwa for horse riding on the beach. First I wasn't sure if I wanted to go because I was scared the horses didn't have a good life. But then I was thinking it's better they earn some money on me than nothing.

So a italian guy came and picked me and my friend up and I was happily surprised to see the horses had it pretty good. They were standing in paddocks and everybody had food and water. Many of the horses were really skinny but they are still figuring out how to keep them in good shape and they are trying to breed a "Zanzibar horse" that can get used to this climate. I was three of the horses they breed so far and they looked more healthier than the imported horses. They are giving the horses free access to hey and giving them a musli mix and extra vitamines. Pretty much like we do in sweden.
The riding was good. I got to ride two horses, one stallion which I went out in the water and took a swim with and the other one was Milo which I took a ride with on the beach. We were out for like one hour it was really nice, long ride on the beach and through a lokal village.
I am happy with the experience they did a good job at Maisha Mazuri I can really recomend to visit them if you come to Zanzibar. But then I would recomend to just take a ride for like 2 1/2 hour because I did enjoy the riding mostly. Sure it's fun to go swim with them but I think the horses is pretty tired of that so just take a nice ride.
I will show you GoPro videos when I get back to sweden it's to slow wifi here to upload anything. So just enjoy some pictures from my Iphone :)
